Hi, I’m S. Harper

After having my own babies, I became deeply aware of how little support mothers receive after birth. While babies are celebrated and cared for, mothers are often left to navigate recovery, exhaustion, and emotional changes on their own. In many cultures outside of the U.S., new mothers are cared for with intention, tenderness, and rest.

That belief is at the heart of my work.

My goal is to offer mothers the care they deserve comfort, reassurance, and hands-on support so they don’t have to choose between healing and caring for their baby.

My Approach

My approach is simple: care for the mother as intentionally as the baby. The postpartum period is not meant to be rushed or endured it’s a time for healing, rest, and support.

I provide calm, hands-on care that adapts to each family’s unique needs. Whether that looks like tending to your baby so you can sleep, preparing nourishing meals, maintaining a peaceful home environment, or offering reassurance during those early, uncertain days, my goal is always the same to help you feel supported, capable, and cared for.

As a certified CNA and Nurse Tech, and a mother of four, I bring both professional training and lived experience into every home I enter. I understand the physical recovery, emotional shifts, and exhaustion that come with new motherhood. I also understand that no two postpartum journeys look the same.

I don’t believe in rigid schedules or one-size-fits-all advice. Instead, I focus on gentle routines, responsive care, and protecting a mother’s rest. I work quietly in the background, anticipating needs, easing overwhelm, and creating space for you to recover while bonding with your baby.

Above all, my approach is rooted in respect for your body, your choices, and your family. You deserve to feel held during this season, not hurried through it.
